Merito chose Metalix nesting solution for their Amada LC2415 laser

Merito from Holland is a leading kitchen and bathroom manufacturer of custom made stainless steel kitchens and bathrooms for the domestic and professional sector. They produce both complete kitchens for kitchen studios, interior designers and mass catering suppliers, ship designers, hospitals and institutions throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

When Merito needed a nesting solution for their Amada LC2415 laser, they turned to Metalix.

Says Beeno Horlings, General Manager of Merito BV:

We use our Amada laser in a special way for making kitchen counter tops, among other things. As a result, we work a lot with different plate sizes, sometimes 6 meters, with frequent repositioning and rotations. We also had specific wishes regarding cutting and marking letters. After we were allowed to use Metalix for a month on trial we were sure this was the right choice. This was an important and pleasant way for us to work, enabled by the supplier of Metalix.

Wij gebruiken onze Amada-laser op een speciale manier voor het maken van onder andere aanrechtbladen. We werken daardoor veel met afwijkende plaatmaten met vaak overpakken en keren. We hadden ook specifieke wensen met betrekking tot het snijden en markeren van letters. Nadat we Metalix een maand op proef hadden mogen gebruiken wisten we zeker dat we het juiste systeem in huis hadden gehaald. Dit was voor ons een belangrijke en prettige manier van werken, mogelijk gemaakt de leverancier van Metalix.
