Jesús Castro, S.L. Improves Production Workflow after Switching to Metalix

Jesús Castro, S.L. from Spain has been producing train components for the last 45 years. Among his customers, you will find leading train manufacturers such as Alstom and CAF.

The company produces over 2.500 different parts a day for laser processing on their Amada LC2415, Prima Platino 1530, and Baykal BLS 3015 Neo cutting machines. Parts are made of aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel.
They create 200 – 300 programs per day.

Before Metalix, they used three different software (none from Metalix) for their laser cutting machines, and three programmers would do the job.

When the owner wanted to optimize their work, he turned to Metalix.

After switching to Metalix cncKad and AN Pro software all three laser machines work with one software and one programmer can handle all the work. Orders from the Production Department are received as CSV files, ready for importing into AutoNest.
